STEPS TO SHARE YOUR FAITH
Step 1 - Pray
Ask God to give you courage and boldness to share your faith with others. Pray for Him to place people in your path who are open to hearing about Jesus.
Step 2 - Invite to Church
Pick up invite cards and invite someone to join you for a church gathering. Special weekends are always a great opportunity to invite.
Upcoming Summer Special Weekends:
June 7 & 8 - Beginning of Summer Series, "Family by the Book"
June 14 & 15 - Father's Day Celebration
June 21 & 22 - Student Weekend
July 5 & 6 - "Celebrate Freedom" Gatherings
July 19 & 20 - Kids Camp Celebration Gatherings
Step 3 - Start a Conversation
Use the conversation starter card for ways to chat with people around you throughout your day. For example, while standing in the grocery checkout line, begin by asking the person behind you, "How long have you lived in the area?" Have a genuine interest in people.
One small conversation can change someone's eternity!
Step 4 - Perform Random Acts of Kindness
Starting Christ conversations can begin with simple acts of kindness. use the following list to reach out to others on your own to be creative with your own ideas!
Buy a coffee for someone behind you in line.
Cut your neighbor’s grass.
Take a basket of snacks to your doctor’s or dentist’s office.
Deliver baked goods to an elderly neighbor.
Hand out cold water at the park on a hot day.
Step 5 - Wear Your T-shirt
Wear your “Ask Me About My Shirt” t-shirt to start conversations with people wherever you go. Use the guide to explain each circle. Share your own testimony if suitable in the timeframe.
If he/she still has questions, encourage the person to visit the website, moreatcrc.com, for more information.

Join us for a Servant Project Day. Groups will meet at each campus and head out to share the Good News of Jesus around our community.
Host a Discovery Group
Beginning in August, Discovery Groups will meet in homes in a wide variety of neighborhoods. This is a great way to get to know your neighbors! Groups will use an easy to follow study on the topic of healthy marriages to lead discussions.

How do we reach people for Jesus?
At Crossroads, we love people, and we want to share the good news of Jesus with everyone! Because life is busy, we must have a plan to reach people for him.
Crossroads has a strategy that provides outreach opportunities for our church to be part of the process of helping disconnected people to become fully connected and spiritually developed disciples. The purpose of outreach is to connect our culture to Christ and connect our crowd (YOU!) to the culture!
We have “5 Doors” to mobilize our church to reach our community!
1. Personal Invite
The single most effective way to connect people to Christ and His Church is through a personal invitation. Personal relationships are, without question, the best way to reach someone. Each season, we provide invite cards to upcoming events and/or sermon series. Make sure you grab a stack and invite your friends, family, and neighbors to our special days, outreach events, and weekend services.
2. Special Days/Outreach Events
Special services and events provide opportunities for you to reach out. You can support these special days by praying, inviting, and serving! Pray in advance for ev- eryone who attends, invite the people around you, then come serve with us. We can plan and prepare for special services and events, but we need your help to make them successful!
3. Servant Projects
Servant projects are a tangible way to show God’s love with “no strings attached.” Kindness goes a long way when reaching others. Servant projects may be done during a church-wide event, with a small group, or even on your own. Examples include organizing your small group to do yard work for a sick neighbor, paying for someone’s meal or coffee, or joining us for a scheduled community work day.
4. Social Media & Advertising
Many people use social media to keep up with local activities and events. We’re able to use social media and advertising to reach a wide range of people that we may not otherwise encounter. You can help in this effort by commenting, sharing, Instagram.
5. Outreach Groups
Small group settings, called Discovery Groups, allow you to invite people from your neighborhood to connect through a 5-week topical discussion. A leader or pastor marriage, parenting, or health. The topic meets a need, so people are more will- ing to attend. You can help in this effort by offering your home to host a Discovery Group.
