Community Impact

Crossroads loves the people in our community! Our goal through Community Impact is to help people become the healthy, whole individuals that God created them to be. We offer support by meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our neighbors.

We serve our neighbors in Coweta County through the following ministries.

ACTS Team

Many people in our community are not physically able or cannot afford help with basic home repairs and yard work. Our ACTS team rolls up their sleeves and provides these handyman services.

Cancer Care Support

A cancer diagnosis is a devastating reality for so many families in our community. Our ministry offers encouragement and practical assistance which allows families to focus on caring for their loved ones.

Community Garden

By providing fresh, healthy vegetables to local food banks, we help meet the most basic needs in our community.

Community Investment

By making wise financial investments in other organizations, we help build a stronger community. Past contributions include two school playground funds, a school mural fund, and paying off the balance on school lunch accounts.

Crossroads Weekday Preschool (CWP)

CWP is a faith-based preschool that provides a loving and safe environment for children ages six weeks to PreK-4. CWP operates during the school calendar year.

First Responders Ministry

Coweta County’s first responders take great care of our community, and we want to do the same for them. Our ministry seeks to support our local Firefighters, Law Enforcement, EMTs, and Paramedics by offering prayer, encouragement, and support.

Foster Care Support

Foster families are faced with multiple daily challenges. This ministry comes alongside these families to help ease the day-to-day pressures. We provide a wide range of support including meals, laundry, and temporary respite.

Crossroads Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry located at our Thomas Crossroads Campus allows clients to choose the food and toiletry items they need. Pantry hours are every Monday 3:00PM-6:30PM. “Shopping” is by appointment only and all clients must complete an application. For appointments, please call 770-254-0291.

Recreation

Crossroads Recreation offers children through adults the opportunity to participate in sports in a safe, encouraging environment. We offer soccer, basketball and cheerleading, and baseball. We also host an annual 5K race and golf tournament benefiting local ministries.

ReNew Thrift Store

ReNew offers affordable clothing and home accessories while generating revenue for our ministry projects and investments. All proceeds are used to serve the people in our community.

School Ministry

Coweta County teachers and staff have a major impact on the lives of children in our community. Our goal is to offer encouragement, support, and care for all school personnel on a regular basis.

Truth in Nature

Crossroads partners with Truth in Nature, an organization created to make a difference in the lives of middle and high school boys by sharing Christ’s love in his creation. Our mentors reach, inspire, support, and engage young men from fatherless and single parent homes in understanding their purpose as Christian men and helping break the fatherless cycle.
