Come & See

Each year, the Easter season provides the Church with the perfect opportunity to reach out to our community! Our Easter “Come & See” season begins with the Egg Drop, continues through seven Easter weekend services, and ends with a new teaching series entitled “Weary? Overcoming the Weariness of Our Time.”

Below are four ways to help us live a “Come & See” lifestyle this Easter season!

  1. Pray

  • For the opportunity to have a Christ conversation with at least three people this season.

  • For guests attending the Egg Drop and Easter services to experience Christ’s love and are compelled to pursue him more.

  • For the lost to be saved.

2. Participate

  • Serve at the Egg Drop on April 9! Join the team HERE!

  • Serve at an Easter service on April 16 or 17! Find all of the opportunities HERE!

  • Attend Saturday Night Church, an Amphitheater service (bring a chair), or the Thomas Crossroads Campus on Easter weekend to make room for our guests! Choose a service HERE.

3. Invite

  • Take several Egg Drop and Easter invite cards from our campus lobbies and invite friends, family, and co-workers.

  • Invite to Egg Drop! Share the exciting details to encourage families to attend! On April 9 from 11AM-2PM we’re hosting a unique egg hunt experience at East Coweta High School. We’re dropping thousands of eggs from a helicopter, and everyone is invited! Come enjoy eggs, food trucks, and fun family activities!

  • Invite to Easter services! Encourage people to attend one of our Easter services. Easter is a great time to “come and see” how God’s love changes lives. We’re offering lots of service times and locations. Services will be April 16 and 17 at our Sharpsburg Campus, Thomas Crossroads Campus, and Amphitheater. Find all of the information HERE.

  • Share our Egg Drop and Easter posts on social media platforms! Share to your profile page and be sure to add a caption to personally invite your friends and family to join you. When you see our Facebook events, click “Going” to help others see these events as well!

  • Serve others while you invite! Use these suggestions or create your own!

    • Bake cookies, wrap them, and attach an invite card to give to your neighbors or co-workers.

    • Take a friend to dinner who does not have a church home and invite him/her to attend an Easter service with you.

    • Attach invite cards on water bottles or soda cans then pass them out at a red light or in front of a store.

    • Pay it forward! Pay for the person’s meal behind you in a fast food line. Ask the employee to hand the invite card to the person.

4. Give

  • Donate candy-filled plastic Easter eggs for the Egg Drop! Fill eggs with individually wrapped candy (no chocolate please), lightly tape the eggs closed, then bring them to marked donation baskets at either campus by April 6. Help us reach our goal of 100,000 eggs!

  • Contribute financially! During Easter weekend, we will collect a special offering that will go towards our debt. We are only $780,000 away from being debt free! Your generosity is moving the mission forward!
