We want to see each of our interns grow and develop both spiritually and professionally. We are training the church leaders of tomorrow, and we believe their development must be intentional with a focused and purposeful approach. Our goal is to guide our interns as they learn the value of teamwork, pastoral care, administrative responsibilities, volunteer recruitment and management, and most importantly, to assist in their personal growth and discovery to clarify each intern’s individual calling.
At Crossroads, we believe it is our duty to develop leaders through our internship programs within the context of ministry and growing relationships with peers, ministry leaders, and outside mentors. Our internship programs offer practical training for young men and women who feel called to ministry. All training coincides with classroom experience or is completed as a second step after the interns' schooling.
Crossroads Church offers internship positions for both Academic (Educational) Interns and Employment (Occupational) Interns. With our Academic Internships, we partner with Point University. Students commit to a two-year program working towards the goal of an Associate of Arts degree from Point University as well as a Certificate of Practical Ministry from Crossroads Church. Interns will receive 3 hours of school credit per semester for their ministry at Crossroads.
Our Employment Internships are for those young men and women who have been called to full time church ministry and who have completed their education process or may be in between degrees. Each of these interns will be assigned certain staff responsibilities and will report to a staff supervisor. Employment Interns will receive a minimal salary.
