Speakers - Brad & Heidi Mitchell

We were childhood sweethearts who dated long-distance until we went to Wheaton College where we both got our B.A.  After we had both graduated, Brad received his MDiv. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Brad has communicated to a wide variety of audiences around the world for over 27 years as a pastor and conference speaker. He has spoken multiple times at Willow Creek Community Church services. Additionally, Brad has developed and taught breakouts for the National Coalition of Men’s Ministries as well as for Willow Creek and Saddleback Church conferences. Brad has spoken for numerous men’s retreats across the country and is often a repeat guest. Brad is Lead Pastor of a church in the Cincinnati area. He has pastored large churches in South Carolina and Michigan. Prior to that he was on staff at Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago as the director of three ministries: Men’s, Sports, and Prayer. Brad spent nine years in Minnesota planting a church in a small town that reached 500 people for Christ.

Heidi has been a pastor’s wife for over 27 years. God has gifted her with international opportunities as a conference and event speaker. Heidi is passionate about building strong marriages, ministering to women, and parenting. She has taught 250 parents at Willow Creek Community Church, spoken at numerous women’s retreats, and co-led marriage retreats and conferences.

As a team, we love to speak at marriage retreats and conferences on how to Build Your Marriage. Additionally, Heidi thrives speaking to women and Brad to men. We have been married 34 years.  We have an adult son (with daughter-in-law!), and two daughters (one with son-in-law!). We enjoy traveling, reading, hanging out with friends, and going on long walks on a beach, in the mountains, or even in our neighborhood.
